I wrote many times on the blog, that creating healthy and more tummy friendly treats gives me so much joy. But the thing I really enjoy the most is the process of decorating those creations. Especially birthday cakes which let me show my skills. This is why I am always the first one with my hand up when someone’s birthday is approaching.
Not that long ago our friends’ second son was born. This meant a welcome party for a new family member. For that occasion, I’ve prepared chocolate cupcakes with blueberry jam filling. They turned out marvelous. All guests were very impressed. What’s more, they were really surprised when they learnt it was a much healthier version of this popular sweet treat.
Spring is finally here in Australia and pumpkins are still in season, moreover they are available for a decent price. That’s awesome! I decided to take this opportunity and make some pumpkin puree, which I can later use for my kitchen experiments. This time it is a turn for pumpkin pancakes with beetroot and carrot salad.
Recently I came up with an idea to make cupcakes and decorate them like mini cakes 😉 I had some bananas, grounded almonds and buckwheat flour. I’ve added few eggs, spices and the experiment turned into quite cool cupcakes 🙂
During colder Australian days, pumpkin bread is a frequent guest on our table. Aromatic spices and herbs give it an amazing flavour and that warming sensation throughout the body.
Not that long ago, before I’ve been diagnosed with autoimmune disease, one of my passions was baking sweets, especially cakes and cupcakes. The additional fun was to decorate them. And apparently, I was quite good in it 😉 Chocolate cupcakes were one of my first healthy experimental creations I’ve managed to make. In addition, very successful 🙂
Healthy chicken nuggets, popular fast food, in a new form! You can eat them without any guilt. Whaaat? Well, first of all, they are being baked, not deep fried, how it’s usually done. Additionally, they are coated with linseeds and sesame.
Breaded wings are the one of most popular foods you can get in a famous chain serving fast foods. My cauliflower wings are much more healthy and can be eaten without the guilt 😉 Perfect as a snack, but we also love to have them with dinner 🙂
A good recipe for gluten-free pizza is literally priceless. To get one, which doesn’t taste like a cardboard, it’s a huge challenge. My version of pizza had to be prepared without yeast, sugar or gluten.
