Beetroot smoothie experiment! First time on the blog 😉 I need to admit it took me almost a year before I gathered the courage to add beetroot to my morning smoothie. And to be honest, I don’t know why. Maybe because as a kid, I’ve never been a big fan of this veggie and I was afraid it will destroy the flavour of my delicious brekkie. Now I know I was so wrong! Beetroot smoothie tastes amazing! You can definitely expect more recipes with beetroot combination on the blog in the near future 😉
Servings: 2Ingredients:
- 10 g fresh ginger
- 120 g beetroot
- 150 g carrot
- 1 red apple
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- 1 cup coconut water
- 1 tsp tahini or nut butter (for example from this recipe)
- 1 frozen banana
Directions:
- In the blender mix all ingredients till smooth.
